We really have gotten used to being here. We were lucky enough to be taken here at what turned out to be a favorable moment, but...

The lucky streak seems to have been interrupted, at least.

As of yesterday I've been here for six months, haven't I? That's been quite a while now.

I met somebody the other day while taking a walk in the park. She knows me from the future, she says--naturally, I didn't know her, but we did have something in common, and we talked for some time. Not a bad afternoon.

Recently there has been some new presence in my room. I have yet to see anybody, but I do know somebody--or something--is there.

It's persisted for some time now; ever since the recent arrivals, in fact. If I'm correct in guessing that I have a roommate again, will whoever it is please make themselves known if access to these journals is possible, since it seems that I'm unable to see you in person right now?

New rooms. New people. And yet I am still the only one living in this one room.

Perhaps that's better right now.
